About Me
My Story
My name is Jen. I'm the owner and creator of Crafty Little Market where I make home decor and much more! I'm a wife and a mother of 3. I started crafting and DIYing many years ago in my early 20's. I couldn't afford much with my first apartment, so I had to be creative with what I had. When my kids were younger I always DIY'd everything!! (And still do).
Another fun hobby that I love doing is refinishing furniture. More than half of my home is filled with refinished/re-purposed furniture. I probably spent the first few month in our new home trying to "revamp" old furniture. I love it and it's a hobby that I will always love doing!
So, after many years of crafting and creating my own new things, I started doing it for others. It's therapy for me. I can spend 12 hours in my work room and not get bored. Maybe frustrated, Lol, but never bored!! And now that I am working with wood, I love my small business even MORE!! But I truly owe it to my husband and kids. They pushed me to start my own business, even when I was so afraid of failure. But I did it!! And I'm so glad I did!!
